PUMA 3 has no editing modes such as append, overwrite and insert in order to protect the integrity of the original recording. The elimination of these recoding modes will help qualify them as evidence or for use in court proceedings. In addition all recordings are date/time stamped and branded with the officer’s ID for ease of identification and tracking.

Superior Sound

Greater sound quality for recording has been achieved with the new built-in stereo noise canceling microphone and the new audio format (.WMA). Noise Cancel and Voice Filter functions will cut background noise and enable clear audio playback. In addition the superior sound quality will meet the requirements needed for Stress Analysis Software programs.

Longer Recording Time

With The new PUMA 3 Law Enforcement Digital Recorder you can record nearly 500 hours of continuous recording time in LP mode with 2GB of internal memory. The PUMA 3 also features a Longer Battery life that gives the officer up to 51 continuous recording hours.

PUMA 3 is a compact, lightweight recorder weighing approximately 2.8 oz. with batteries. Its new metal construction provides higher durability and a longer life. A custom designed PUMA Police Holster is available in basket weave or smooth leather – with spring clip for the Sam Browne. The holster is constructed with KYDEX for added durability to protect the PUMA 3 Digital Recorder while the openings provides for one-handed operation. Recessed control buttons have been added which eliminates accidental engagements of operational buttons.

	PTCM Tie Clip Microphone The PUMA Tie-clip microphone is a small, lightweight microphone that can be clipped to the collar or under a jacket or shirt for concealment. The PUMA Tie-clip microphone is an ideal accessory for the PUMA Police Special digital voice recorder.
	PTRX-20 B 3.5 Telephone Interface Land Line The PTRX-20 B 3.5 Telephone Interface adapts a PUMA 3 to both single and multi-line telephones. The PTRX-20 B 3.5 is compatible with all modular type telephones. The unit is installed in a matter of minutes by merely "plugging" in the unit. The PTRX-20 B 3.5 clearly records both ends of the phone conversation.
	PTP-7 Portable Telephone Interface The PTP-7 Portable Telephone Record Adapter makes phone recording a snap, acting as a multipurpose earphone/telephone pickup. Just plug the PTP-7 jack into the "MIC" jack of the PUMA 3, and put the earphone side into your ear. When speaking on the telephone, the PTP-7 will capture both ends of a phone conversation.
	A/C Adapter The A-514 AC Adapter is intended for use with the PUMA 3 Voice recorder. With the power adapter you can run your PUMA 3 Voice recorder from a standard US Power Supply, which allows you to record with confidence for a long period of time without carrying around extra sets of batteries.
