March, 2008 – Bagby, Gajdos & Zachary, a leading
Workers’ Compensation defense law firm with offices in Orange, Los
Angles, Ventura Counties and the Inland Empire has switched from analog tapes to digital dictation. They
selected the DS-4000 Digital Voice Recorder and the AS-4000
Transcription system from Olympus.
Attorneys and secretaries at the firm were tired of restrictive
tape dictation methods, and moved in favor of the increased
flexibility afforded by digital dictation from Olympus. The new dictation workflow enables fee earners to set
‘due by’ dates and priorities to ensure deadlines are always met.
The improved workflow and increased work share culture has
facilitated an improvement in the fee earner to secretary ratio
and makes it easier to exchange reordered dictations.

extensive experience in Workers’ Compensation defense law. The
majority of their attorneys are Specialists in Workers’
Compensation Law, certified by the State Bar of California, Board
of Legal Specialization, or have completed all testing and are
pending formal certification. Bagby, Gajdos & Zachary brings to
