Designed specifically for dictation, the DR-2000's snug-fit shape offers a secure, comfortable grip for fatigue-free recording even over an extended period. A high-precision slide switch and click-stop action provide solid, reliable operation, while its stylish white finish blends well with many environments.

 Higher Sound Quality

Incorporating a 10 mm-diameter microphone to capture your words, the DR-2000 boasts outstanding sound quality. A high-sensitivity microphone with a wide frequency response of 100 Hz to 15 kHz effectively covers the human vocal range, while a big built-in speaker reproduces sound with remarkable precision and clarity.

Customizable Key Assignment

With the DR-2000, you can assign specific functions to three dedicated buttons. By assigning frequently used functions to three buttons, you can access them more quickly and easily at the touch of a button.

Customizable programmed button functions:

NEW: Starts new recording

REW: Rewind

FF: Fast-forward

INDEX: Marks index points during playback/recording

PRIORITY: Selects the file for higher priority

INSERT/OVERWRITE: Alternates Insert and Overwrite mode

DISABLE: Used when no function is assigned

Application: Triggers any application software (Word, Excel, etc.) or other short-cut commands

Intuitive DSS Player Pro Software

The DR-2000 comes with "DSS Player Pro", a powerful set of PC software tools that let you control voice recording with a click of your mouse.   • DR-2000 can save a recording as a file on a PC in DSS (Digital Speech Standard) format.

  • Two recording modes, SP (Standard Playback) mode or LP (Long Playback) mode.

  • Microphone sensor quality can be altered to better suit recording conditions and environment.

  • A priority level can be set on each file recorded.
    Take advantage of the ability to insert and overwrite on an existing recording file.

  • Up to 16 index marks can be set in a file.

  • System Sounds (beep) are available to alert you to button operations or warn you of errors. They can be turned on or off according to your preference.

  • Up to 10 users ID's and Work Types can be registered in DSS Player Pro.

  • Register an ID directly in the DR-2000 and have it become part of the created recording file’s naming convention for quick and easy retrieval.

  • New design and button location enables single-handed control without ever having to visually check the placement of function buttons.

  • DR-2000 use ø10mm, highly sensitive, built-in omni directional microphones. The microphone sensitivity can be easily adjusted with the DSS Player to suit the purpose of use.

  • DR-2000 firmware can be easily updated to provide additional features or product enhancement.

  • In addition to the 3 programmable buttons, additional functionality can be supported by combining any button on the DR-2000 using the Shift or Ctrl keys on a PC keyboard. This function is supported by the included DSS Player Pro software.
