Recording Phone, Radio,
and ROD (Record on Demand)
APD identified the Mirra Series IV as a reliable, one box solution,
that would offer them all the needed Public Safety Recording
requirements. The department took it one step further to insure no
loss of recording by implementing a backup system. In the event the
primary Mirra system is to fail (or be temporarily out of service),
the backup system will continue to record all primary Phone and
Radio Communications. The department has always been at the
forefront of digital technology, with the Mirra Series IV, they
continue this pattern. |

With
the help and suggestions from VIP, DPD decided against implementing
another system in exchange for the Mirra Series IV Logger.
The Mirra system offered the department a smaller, yet more
powerful, solution to their recording needs.

GPD
upgraded an old Racal Wordnet system with the most modern technology, the
Mirra Series IV Logging Recorder. As
there old system began to give out, they identified a need to replace it
with a smaller sized unit that offered more features and benefits.
The low cost of ownership, small foot print, and user-friendliness
of the system all played a part in the overall decision to employ the
Mirra Series IV.

CoR, Public Utilities
needed an inexpensive system to accommodate the small 12 Channel Call
Center. Though plans are to
expand the system in upcoming years, the Mirra can be configured as small
as 4 channels and grow in increments of 4 to 48 channels.
This includes any combination of Phone, Radio, or VoIP.

PD is moving from an outdated Dictaphone recorder to the new Mirra Series
IV Communications Logger. As
with APD, Tustin identified a need to guarantee 100% uptime with all
Primary phone and radio. With
the new logger configuration, they can be assured that the recording of
Phone and Radio will not be compromised.
Tustin PD is also bringing many new ideas to the table that we hope
to see develop into new features of the system.
