For many years, proprietary dictation stations and devices have been used in offices, near microscopes, and around the gross area of a pathology department. A gooseneck microphone and Footpedal connected to a sometimes expensive and proprietary device that allowed physicians/ clinicians to efficiently and effectively dictate their lab reports. Today, the landscape has changed when shopping for a new pathology dictation system.
Introducing Fusion Dictate for Pathology
Fusion Dictate® for Pathology is specialized dictation software that captures dictation on a local PC that is integrated to our voice server. Add our specialized pathology foot-pedal (waterproof optional) gooseneck microphone, and your clinicians can dictate the same way they always have; only without using costly ports and proprietary dictate stations.

Users need not be familiar with the operation of a PC to use Fusion Dictate®. Just log in one time and our hands-free workflow will do the rest.
Fusion Voice® is an enterprise-wide platform for dictation capture, work flow routing and management reporting.

FeaturesIntegrate Fusion Dictate® with your RIS or PACS for added functionality and to streamline the dictation process. Select exam from a worklist or image and the patient and exam data is automatically attached to the dictation! Record canned normals and routines one time for easy retrieval over and over again. Dictations are securely transmitted over the LAN/WAN/Internet to the central Fusion Voice server. Distribution for transcription is fast and automatic. Updating the RIS with the Dictated status is instantaneous. |
