TheRecord Manager™ is a content management software application for hearing room and courtroom recording.
TheRecord Manager It provides client sites with greater versatility and control over archival, migration, copy, storage, user access, back-up and overall management ofdigital court recordings and associated logsheets. When combined with FTR Reporter™ or FTR Reporter™ A/V, it delivers a robust and complete solution from capturing the record of proceedings to content management.

FTR TheRecord Manager
FTR has long been the standard for digital court recording and our FTR Gold product suite is an all-encompassing end-to-end solution for facilitating the capture and management of courtroom proceedings.
In Court Recording & Beyond…
TheRecord Manager can be used independent of the latest versions of FTR Reporter and/or FTR Reporter A/V to manage pre-recorded content generated using FTR digital court recording solutions. When implemented as a standalone solution, it includes all of the capabilities listed above except for real-time sealing of proceedings and concurrent dual archiving.
With TheRecord Manager:
- Court Clerks and Electronic Court Reporters (ECR) can seal select proceedings to either optical media or a protected network location.
- Judges can be confident in knowing that any digital court recording logs can be effectively sealed for restricted access. In addition, they can instruct for corresponding log sheets to be sealed, and either redact or remove the generally archived log sheets in order to restrict access to potentially sensitive notes.
- IT/Network Administrators can easily restrict access to content as well as enjoy the convenience of being able to manually migrate or back-up content to offline storage. They can also choose to maintain a duplicate set of recordings in industry-standard MP3 format.
