FTR has long been the standard for digital court recording and our FTR Gold product suite is an all-encompassing end-to-end solution for facilitating the capture and management of courtroom proceedings. FTR Reporter™ is a tool used for digital court reporting. It is a software based solution which works by capturing, annotating, playing back and managing the record of court proceedings.

Central to the FTR Gold family of products, FTR Reporter supports digital recording of 4-channel audio. It also incorporates all of the functionality found in companion products such as FTR Log Notes®, and TheRecord Player™, thereby facilitating electronic court reporting through linked note-taking as well as review and playback of pre-recorded content.

FTR Log Notes® is a software note-taking tool that enables users to take comprehensive, time-stamped notes against live or existing digital court recording created using FTR Reporter™.

Widely used by Court Monitors, Clerks, Electronic Court Reporters (ECR), Judges, Lawyers and Transcribers, FTR Log Notes simplifies the annotation and review process by creating a timestamp for each note entered while listening to a live or existing court recording. Since each timestamp is a hyperlink to the exact point in the associated recording where the note was taken, reviewing notes and recordings becomes a quick, one-click process – no more rewinding and fast-forwarding of tapes! Simply open the relevant log sheets and click on the links to hear exactly what was happening when each note was created.

Recording In the Courtroom…

TheRecord Collection™ Media & Storage System is a complete custom-designed storage system for your digital recordings. It includes 100 high-quality CD’s or DVD’s packed in TheRecord AlbumTM protective Digipak cases, a heavy-duty storage box, a water-based permanent marking pen for noting case numbers, dates and other information and a Quick Reference Guide published by the National Institute of Standards & Technology (NIST).

FTR Headsets are lightweight, comfortable and ergonomically designed for maximum comfort and acoustics. Their open design lets you be aware of sounds and activities around you while you monitor audio and video play back. Each headset is fitted with a 1/8″ (3.5mm) stereo mini plug with 9′ (3m) cable and also includes two spare earpiece pads. FTR headsets are compatible with all FTR software solutions.

FTR USB Foot Control offers easy, trouble-free play back of FTR audio and video. It features rugged construction with heavy duty switches for long hours of operation and is ergonomically designed for minimal foot fatigue.
